Over the summer, I developed the concept for a post-apocalyptic fishing game set in a barren wasteland where players venture into the deep sea to battle mutated creatures using scavenged trash and improvised power-up items. I focused on establishing the game’s visual language and worldbuilding through character design, environmental concepts, UI systems, 3D model concepts, item design, and an in-game fishing rod. These assets helped define the game’s visual identity while exploring how the environment, characters, and gameplay mechanics could work together to create a cohesive world. Using tools such as Clip Studio Paint, Figma, and Photoshop, I created concept art and visual assets to communicate the direction of the game and build out a rough visual framework for the playable experience.
